BALLOCH,HELLER SGS WINNERS
(11/05/09) On a super-fast South Gate surface,Dave Balloch and Chuck Heller sped to victory lane over a short field in the USAC midget/dirt champ program Wednesday night. Too bad other SCORE drivers didn't make the trip to the Reading bullring,the racing was tight and quick and deserved to be shared by more competitors.
Balloch recorded win number 37 for his BalPro 1v in the 40 lap midget feature two points ahead of Heller and Mike Lengel. Heller earned the runner-up position with less mishaps in the tie-breaker. Heller fell one point less of a perfect run in the dirt champ event as he easily collected the victory over Balloch and Lengel. Lengel stole second place laurels when Balloch rode over Iron Mike's wheel as he attempted to lap the defending champion in the last segment of the 60 lapper.
